Farooq Qaiser ((ウルドゥー語:فاروق قیصر)) (born October 31 Lahore) is a Pakistani artist, columnist, director, puppeteer, script writer and voice actor. He is also author of some books. Qaiser is well known for his fictional puppet Uncle Sargam introduced in 1976 in children's television show ''Kaliyan''. Farooq is also a cartoonist, columnist and writing for the newspaper Daily Nai Baat in Lahore and famous for his column writing name ''Meethay Karelay'' (English: ''Sweet gourd'').〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.pkcolumns.com/category/columns/farooq-qaiser/ )〕 == Early life and education == Qaiser was born on October 31 to a Muslim family in Lahore, Punjab. He is graduated with Fine Arts in 1970 from the National College of Arts (NCA). Later he mastered in Graphic Arts from Bucharest, Romania in 1976 and trained for puppetry there.〔 He did master in Mass Communication in 1999 from the University of Southern California, United States.〔
